Situated in the heart of the east coast squash corridor, The Heights Casino's junior tournaments
regularly draw large turnouts not only from the east coast, but also from the mid-western, southern and west coast squash
communities. Our adult men's and women's tournaments regularly draw top players from the U.S. and abroad.
The Heights Casino, located in historic Brooklyn Heights, was founded in 1904 as a private,
community squash, tennis and social club. Its membership stands at over 400 families. The club has long been identified
as a New York City squash strong-hold, with facilities that include 6 international singles courts, including 4 brand
new ASB courts, and 1 hardball doubles court. To accommodate the high demand for squash instruction, the club employs
6 squash professionals. The club also features 2 indoor tennis courts, a dining room, an exercise room, a pro-shop
and social facilities. Since the 1970s the club has been identified as an important center of junior squash development
in New York City, and enjoys a similar reputation nationally. Approximately 200 children are engaged in the competitive
squash program, and every year the Casino proudly counts dozens of top ranked junior players among its members. Leading
juniors regularly go on to play at the top levels of intercollegiate squash at distinguished colleges.
